Egg Music Opens In Venice, Scoring ‘Underemployed’

Minneapolis’s Egg Music is expanding, adding a second location in Venice, California to better serve clients and to score MTV’s new 60-minute scripted dramedy, Underemployed.

Egg opened its Minneapolis studio last July to provide original scores, music supervision and licensing services, audio production, and final mixing for advertising, television, and film. The Venice location will provide the same array of services.

Before forming Egg, Bryan Hanna (Creative Director), John Hermanson (Creative Director), and Eric Fawcett (Executive Producer) worked together at Modern Music, a Twin Cities music house best known for its contributions to years of memorable branding campaigns for Target.

Egg had planned to expand to the West Coast, but the timeline for expansion was suddenly moved up last winter when Hermanson was tapped by the influential Hollywood screenwriter, Craig Wright (Six Feet Under, Lost, Dirty Sexy Money, The United States Of Tara), to score his next project, Underemployed, an hour-long dramedy debuting this fall on MTV. Egg is scheduling sessions at their Venice location beginning July 2.
