The Elgin Short Film Festival has received outstanding press coverage and consistently draws high-quality film entries from professional and semi-professional filmmakers from around the country. This competition will allow any filmmaker to submit work, even if it has been entered into other festival competitions! We encourage submitting films in every genre and subject matter as long as they are within the scope of the official rules.
We encourage all interested filmmakers to apply and experience the art of short cinema at The Hemmens Cultural Center. The deadline to submit films is August 17, 2012.
